Today, MRR crew member Rob Hill recovered his first gold coins from one of the famed 1715 Fleet wreck site. The Douglas Beach site is known for the large amount of gold coins recovered in years past. Sea Reaper Back in the Water
After more than two weeks in 3D Boat Yard on Stock Island, the Sea Reaper is back in the water and ready for action. The vessel has received a complete round of underwater maintenance that included running gear and prop inspections, new bottom paint and new hull paint. In the last 24 months, the Sea Reaper has traveled over 6,000 miles and completed over 3,000 excavations, and has performed flawlessly through it all. Sea Reaper Gets Ready for Upcoming Season!
The MRR crew has been working hard in the boat yard! During the last week of January, the Sea Reaper was hauled out of the water and put on dry dock so the crew could get to work on some routine hull maintenance to get ready for the upcoming busy summer season.
